Mike is a nationally recognized funny man from the great state of Arizona, delivering laughs in the form of stand-up comedy, sketch comedy, improv, and variety. He’s been a writer on some of the funniest television shows; now, he wants to help us make our next show one to remember by delivering a laugh riot to your community of clean comedy lovers!

In this day and age, it’s not easy to find a comedian who is genuinely funny, without having to resort to using blue language and getting way too earthy in their delivery. Mike James is one of those rare clean comedians though, with a true talent for delivering hilarious comedy.

Mike prides himself on being able to find the humor in practically any life situation, while also keeping it clean. With a strong Christian background, Mike has had values instilled in him from a young age which have formed his current beliefs and his current approach to life.

A versatile corporate entertainer, Mike has roots in business! He previously worked at Microsoft, delivering presentations for software engineers. Mike incorporated comedy into his presentations to help drive them home and from there, found his calling as a stand-up comedian and humorist!

His sense of humor has been recognized by a number of professionals and by his peers as well, with his contributions to such television shows as The Tonight Show, The Colbert Report, and Tosh.O. He has also appeared on Comedy Central and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and won a Comedian of the Year award recently.

Brian Kohatsu

Brian Kohatsu spent 20 years as an award-winning director before stepping away from the camera for a career in comedy. He quickly found success in radio and gained national recognition when he was featured on Sirius/XM. Brian trained with several improv troupes, before transitioning to stand up. He now performs at various comedy clubs, casinos, churches and corporate events around the country. His unique style, appeal to all ages, and playful knowledge of pop culture have made him an audience favorite. A gifted performer, improviser and writer, Brian is perfect for our clean comedy lovers.

Brian has a light hearted, easy way of making everyday things that happen to all of us sound incredibly funny. Not only is he a hit with any multi-generational crowd, but his humor is clean and tailored for any audience. He is a wonderful and funny entertainer. Combining witty humor with a unique blend of improve, you can’t help but walk away with a smile on your face.

Razor sharp, deadly funny, and knows how to share a stage... Brian's genius is in knowing how to help you bring on the laughs! It's a rare thing when "hilarious" and "generous" describe the same comic, but here, it fits! We had Brian as one of our earliest headliners back in 2015. The audience loved him. We had a great time that night!

Brian has been an improv instructor for over a decade. He's performed in thousands of comedy shows across the country. In addition to comedy, Brian is also a media producer since 1989, having produced and directed over 5,000 projects for corporations, charities and more.

Brian's unique background allows him to pull out the best of his students by teaching them improv skills they can use on stage, but more importantly, in every aspect of their lives. His classes and workshops take place at the Stir Crazy Comedy Club located in the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale, Arizona.
